We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our 2025/26 pantomime Sleeping Beauty won Best Pantomime (550-950 Seats) at the UK Pantomime Awards. We were also celebrating nominations for Best Choreography (Kevan Allen) and Best Dame (Matt Crosby).
Some of the Sleeping Beauty team and Arts Theatre staff enjoyed a visit to the Wycombe Swan Theatre for the awards ceremony on Sunday 19 April, held by the UK Pantomime Association. A fantastic time was had by all!
The Arts Theatre Cambridge's pantomimes have previously won UK Pantomime Awards for Best Sisters (Harry Howle and Steven Roberts, Cinderella 2024/25), Best Ensemble (Danielle Cato, Oliver Imeson, Sophie Karaolis, Sarah Jane Lowe, Louise Parkins and Luke Stone, Mother Goose 2023/24) and Best Villain (Rolan Bell, Aladdin 2021-22). Nominations include Best Choreography (Kevan Allen, Mother Goose 2023/24) and Best Comic (Ruby Ablett, Dick Whittington and his Cat 2022/23).
