CPD session inspired by What I (Don't) Know About Autism

We’re excited to invite teachers and school leaders to a free CPD session inspired by The Sixth Sense Collective’s powerful production of What I (Don’t) Know About Autism. This session is designed to support reflective, inclusive practice and meaningful engagement with neurodiversity in schools.

Led by Beth Elkins (Principal at Gretton/Newcome Education) and Kate Khairdean (SEND Specialist Teacher and Director of What I (Don’t) Know About Autism), we will explore how schools can nurture understanding of autistic identity, foreground young neurodivergent voices, and strengthen inclusive cultures. Through discussion, reflection and practical strategies, we’ll look at how to:

  • Deepen your understanding of autistic and neurodivergent experience in educational settings
  • Develop everyday practice that affirm and empower neurodivergent pupils
  • Build supportive environments across classrooms and the wider school community
  • Use creative work and storytelling to open dialogue and insight among staff and students

The session is suitable for primary and secondary school teachers, SEND specialists, and senior leaders.

The workshop includes the opportunity to network with other educators, and a free ticket to see The Constant Wife.

Spaces are limited, booking essential.
