The Arts Theatre’s Creative Careers Youth Forum invite you to a free screening of their short film, Beginners Please: An Investigation Into Creative Careers.

Join us on Monday 23rd February at 7pm for a peek behind the curtain of the creative industry. Often viewed as a “black box”, the industry can seem impenetrable for young people getting started with their career. We’ve asked the questions and quizzed the professionals - just sit back and watch for a funny and honest insight into getting started in The Arts.

Plus, get a chance to ask your own questions in a post-screening Q&A with industry professionals.

Created by young people aged 16–25 with a passion for theatre and the creative industries, the film explores career pathways, access to the sector, and the skills needed to get started. With interviews taking place at The Arts Theatre with industry professionals, this project takes a look behind the scenes at the Theatre and opens up conversations about working in the arts.
