The Arts Theatre Cambridge is an independent theatrical charity. Our mission is to bring people together to inspire and celebrate the power of live performance.
We receive no regular statutory funding and only a small percentage of the money spent on tickets, so it is essential we raise funds from other sources. By joining our Supporters’ Circle, you will not only access exciting benefits, you will also be playing your part in keeping our great theatre alive.

This dedicated group of people are the driving force behind the development of The Arts Theatre and its vision for the future. To thank you for your generous support, we are delighted to provide a bespoke package that can include your chosen seats held for all shows, exclusive opportunities for you and your guests, and a greater involvement with our theatre, as well as all the benefits offered at the Director level.

Frequently Asked Questions
We are delighted to send all our new Supporters' Circle members a custom membership pack when they join which will include your membership card and more information about your benefits. Your pack will typically be posted out within five working days of joining. To ensure this process is as smooth as possible, please check your address is correct before purchasing your membership. If your membership pack has not arrived within two weeks, please get in touch by emailing [email protected].
From time to time, we offer discounts on selected shows exclusively for our supporters. Offers are emailed throughout the year – usually close to the week of the performance. To receive these offers, please make sure you are opted in to receiving marketing emails from us. If you have previously unsubscribed from emails from The Arts Theatre you will need to contact our Box Office at [email protected] to update your contact preferences with our mailing client.
The Arts Theatre Cambridge is an independent theatrical charity, receiving no regular statutory or civic funding. Our Supporters' Circle is an individual giving programme. As a supporter, you will play an essential role in keeping our theatre alive and facilitating our charitable mission. In return, we like to offer you a closer engagement with our theatre and excusive opportunities, as well as a few small benefits to enjoy when you visit us. We are incredibly grateful to each and every one of our supporters.
Members of our Supporters’ Circle are entitled to a 10% discount on their food bill at our partner restaurant: The Cambridge Chop House, located two minutes walk away on King’s Parade. Please note that prior booking is essential. Please inform a member of staff that you will be using your Arts Theatre Cambridge discount when booking your table.

We will waive the normal ticket exchange fee to enable our Supporters' Circle members to exchange tickets from one performance to another within the same show, subject to availability. To exchange your tickets, please visit or call the Box Office on 01223 503333. If there is a difference in price for your new tickets, you will need to pay this at the time of exchange, or the difference will be returned as credit to your online account.
Please note that we do not offer refunds unless a performance is cancelled. For ticket refund protection, Secure My Booking cover should be purchased at the same time as your tickets.
For Gift Aid, your membership payment represents a donation without encumbrance for the general purpose of The Arts Theatre Cambridge. If you would prefer to offer a donation with no benefits, please contact us by email. Gift memberships are not eligible for Gift Aid.
Our Supporters' Circle memberships last for one year and can be paid in full online or over the phone, or in annual or monthly instalments via Direct Debit. To join by Direct Debit starting from just £8.50 per month, please call us on 01223 578935 or email [email protected]. For Direct Debit memberships, you will automatically be renewed unless we are notified at least fifteen working days ahead of your next membership payment.
